Many people think I am very
strange to have made a Totoro cake. I love Totoro so much that I
tend to think of him at various times, such as when I am cooking.... "hmmm,
I wonder if I could figure out how to make a Totoro cake?"
I finally did figure it out and
took photos of the first attempt. Later attempts produced a much better
likeness (much to the horror of many who attended a certain UGAnime
party). I hope to get pics of the better cakes up soon.
Something I forgot to mention-
Since I have an unusual (sick?) sense of humor, I thought it'd be a good
idea to make the inside of the Totoro a red velvet cake. The horrified
screams of my friends watching me behead Totoro will ring in my ears forever...

The original Totoro cake was
happily devoured by little girls at a tea party. They didn't seem disturbed
by the Totoro feast.
